Home Depot, JPMorgan Chase share losses contribute to Dow's nearly 150-point drop

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading down Tuesday morning with shares of Home Depot and JPMorgan Chase seeing the biggest declines for the price-weighted average. Shares of Home Depot HD, -2.90% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -3.17% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.93% was most recently trading 143 points (0.4%) lower. Home Depot’s shares have declined $6.74 (2.3%) while those of JPMorgan Chase are down $2.73, or 2.2%, combining for an approximately 62-point drag on the Dow. 3M MMM, -2.53%, Nike NKE, -1.89%, and IBM IBM, -4.00% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
