TJX Cos. stock outperforms market on strong trading day

Shares of TJX Cos. TJX inched 0.34% higher to $76.86 Wednesday, on what proved to be an all-around mixed trading session for the stock market, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 0.02% to 32,661.84 and the S&P 500 Index SPX falling 0.47% to 3,951.39. The stock’s rise snapped a three-day losing streak. TJX Cos. closed $6.27 short of its 52-week high ($83.13), which the company reached on January 9th.
