Ghanaian Soccer Star Christian Atsu Found Dead After Turkey Earthquake

Christian Atsu’s body has been found in the rubble of a building that collapsed in Turkey’s earthquakes, the Ghanaian soccer player’s agent and club said Saturday. “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce to all well wishers that sadly Christian Atsu’s body was recovered this morning,” Nana Sechere, the player’s agent, said in a message on Twitter. Atsu’s club, Hatayspor, which is based in southern Turkey, said Atsu’s body would be sent back to Ghana.
